What is your favorite thing about your work?
A:

Seeing how dogs change their initial attitudes when on the trip. They grow more brave as the others bound back and forth through the water, then finally they make the plunge and charge across the stream. When they reach the bank on the other side they look at me, holding their heads up proudly. “Did you see what I just did?” With each water crossing they grow more confident, until finally they stop halfway across and splash and play, running to the bank and then back out into the water.
